Restoration
Watch our progress as we move toward our grand opening!
South Wall Refacing
To accommodate a new HV/AC system, the south wall needed to be reinforced; the brick parapet was in vey poor condition and needed to be removed. 4 sections of brick were removed and concrete was poured in its place. We are still looking at several finish options for the exterior.
Restored Ceiling
The Fox's ceiling has been restored back to its 1930 glory! It has received all new plaster and was hand painted by a team of artists from Evergreene Architectural Arts. A 66ft by 64ft platform had to be built in the audience chamber to give the plasterers and painters access to the ceiling.
Rotary Mezzanine
The mezzanine lounge has been largely rebuilt from funds raised by our 3 local Rotary Clubs. Art Deco finishes, designed by Fernando Duarte, will be applied toward the end of the restoration project.
Orchestra Pit
While the Fox was originally equipped with an orchestra pit that could fit 24 musicians, the current plan is to add a stage extension that will provide 8 more feet at the front of the stage. There will still be 4 removable rows of seating in the auditorium so there will be ample room for musicians on or in front of the stage
New Electrical Service
New 3 phase electrical service has been added to the theater. This will make it possible to power the stage lighting, rigging and sound equipment that will make the Fox a premiere entertainment venue.
Mezzanine Level Restrooms
Beautifully restored restrooms, designed by Fernando Duarte, are already complete.
Entrance Plaza Restoration
The front facade of the Fox will be complete with a beautiful replica ticket booth and mahogany doors.
Complete Roof Replacement
After nearly 90 years of wear and tear, a new roof has been installed at the Fox with brand new HV/AC units to make the theater comfortable year around and incredibly energy efficient.
Chandelier Restoration
The 5 original chandeliers and additional lighting fixtures are being meticulously cleaned and restored to be reinstalled after the ceiling design has been recreated.
Fox Theatre Marquee
Designed by Fernando Duarte and installed in 2012 and 2013, This Fox Marquee is a beautiful homage to the original 1930 original.

Balcony Seating Area
